Thanks for your occupation

Many thanks from the oil companies, GWBush,DickCheney, DonaldRumstel for allowing you to throw your family members under the earth for their distorted sick cause, and billions of corporate profits. You are a true hero of distorted democracy and capitalism. Send more fools, they need more money.

delete patricias letters

patricias letters has nothing to do with salute to veterans, why are they even here? is someone sleeping on the job? get with it and wake up and send patricias letters where they belong...

In memory of my hero

In Memory of

SSG Gregory William Guy McCoy Son, brother, husband, father and soldier Born 02-09-80 - KIA 11-09-06 in Baghdad, Iraq

Please do not mourn my death but celebrate your freedom on this day. Remember me and all those who have given you this very precious gift.

It seems like it was yesterday But now its been a year When they knocked upon the door And we heard the words we feared They said you were killed in action And that you gave your all God needed you in heaven With the others He has called As He gives you your new orders To perform and carry out I'm sure that you will do them In my heart there is no doubt We think of what you're doing And what you've already done With tears of pride and sorrow We miss and love you son

Love, Dad and family

Lets not forget

I just got home from a 15 month tour of Iraq with 4-31 INF (Polar Bears). As we approach veterans day, Lets not forget two soldiers who are still MIA over there. SPC Alex Jiminez and PVT Byron Fouty of Walled Lake, Mich. These two brave warriors shall be remembered by all of us serving with The Polar Bears from the 2ND BCT 10TH Mountain Division. I think of these two men everyday. And pray for their families and friends. I also pray for all the men who were lost from The Polar Bears during this last 15 months and the 54 Commandos in all who made the ultimate sacrafice. Men may God be with you and your families.

My battle buddy SGT Curtis Norris

Brother its been 11 months since we lost you in Quarguilli Village, Iraq. And brother I must say its been real strange. You were my tent mate, my squad leader and an all around good person. I only miss that goofy smile of yours and the silly things we said to each other before going on missions over there. I know how much this means to you but U of M had a good run last season.(this year is much different). I am on my way back to Bragg, and going without you. Actually I have you in my heart becaus e in the small amount of time that we knew each other we grew as soldiers, men who were willing to make that ultimate sacrifice for the Red, White and Blue. Chuck I miss you brother and rest easy.

With love Your battle buddy SGT Darryl Welch F Co 4-31 INF 2ND BCT 10Th MTN DIV (LT)

War In Iraq

I do believe that this war in Iraq has claimed the lives of too many of our men and women... I am 22 years old and to lose friends to a unknown cause is what kills me the most..... as the one year anniversary my friend's death is approaching, I am filled with anger and spite for our president and our government. This war will not end until all of our young men and women are dead and gone. And even then we will move on to start a war somewhere else.... because that is what our GREAT government officials do best!
