Film producer Allan Slutsky, whose biography of James Jamerson, "Standing in the Shadows of Motown," inspired the movie, makes a dedication in memory of members of the Motown studio band who have passed on: James Jamerson, "Bongo" Eddie Brown, Robert White, Earl Van Dyke and and Benny Benjamin.
