Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr is livid at referee Dennis Lipski for a second roughing call against Michigan defensive captain Shawn Crable. Crable was twice flagged for roughing the quarterback on Wisconsin's first scoring drive. Carr later said Lipski is one of the finest officials in the nation, but he disagreed with his interpretation of the penalty on that play.
