Sarah Palin's

Flash for all America and Americans.

In her interview with Katie, Sarah Palin seems to say that she does not read newspapers or magazines.

Then, "how does she know what is going on outside her Alaska igloo?"

It was postulated this morning that she asks questions under the table which is where she keeps her "know it all" Ouija Board..

Mystery solved!!

The media accused John McCain of being

The Liberal Media is going around accusing John McCain of being "sexist" and making false claims that he isn't making Sara Palin available to the press. They are also saying that John McCain himself isn't talking to the media. These claims are completely false, baseless, and without merit. John McCain and Sara Palin meet up with all kinds of people in their travels. While the national media is important they also have to focus their time on local issues and voters concerned about issues facing the country.

Whether it's Barrack Obama or John McCain, the spoiled brat media had no cause to accuse Senator McCain of being sexist. That accusation is totally baseless, tasteless, and insulting! While I understand they want to play political favorites because Obama is their pick, to say McCain is "sexist" is crossing the boarder of unprofessional behavior. The far left media is making these statements out of bitterness and not because of any legitimate conduct about Senator John McCain or Governor Palin making themselves available to the media.

Obama not qualified

Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years. He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations.

Obama graduated with a B.A. from Columbia in 1983, then worked for a year at the Business International Corporation and then at the New York Public Interest Research Group a non-partiotism political group.

After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago to work as a community organizer for three years from June 1985 to May 1988 as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland (Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale) on Chicago's far South Side. During his three years as the DCP's director, its staff grew from 1 to 13 and its annual budget grew from $70,000 to $400,000, with accomplishments including helping set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens. Obama also worked as a consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation, a community organizing institute.

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988. At the end of his first year, he was selected, based on his grades and a writing competition, as an editor of the Harvard Law Review. In February 1990, in his second year, he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the Law Review's staff of 80 editors.

Obama's election as the first black president of the Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles. During his summers, he returned to Chicago where he worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991.

The publicity from his election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a publishing contract and advance for a book about race relations. In an effort to recruit him to their faculty, the University of Chicago Law School provided Obama with a fellowship and an office to work on his book.

He originally planned to finish the book in one year, but it took much longer as the book evolved into a personal memoir. In order to work without interruptions, Obama and his wife, Michelle, traveled to Bali where he wrote for several months. The manuscript was finally published in mid-1995 as Dreams from My Father.

Obama directed Illinois's Project Vote from April to October 1992, a voter registration drive with a staff of 10 and 700 volunteers and which achieved its goal of registering 150,000 of 400,000 unregistered African-Americans in the state, and led to Crain's Chicago Business naming Obama to its 1993 list of "40 under Forty" powers to be.

Beginning in 1992, Obama taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for twelve years, being first classified as a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996, and then as a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004.

He also, in 1993, joined Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland, a 12-attorney law firm specializing in civil rights litigation and neighborhood economic development, where he was an associate for three years from 1993 to 1996, then of counsel from 1996 to 2004, with his law license becoming inactive in 2002.

Obama was a founding member of the board of directors of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife, Michelle, became the founding executive director of Public Allies Chicago in early 1993. He served from 1993 to 2002 on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, which in 1985 had been the first foundation to fund Obama's DCP, and served from 1994 to 2002 on the board of directors of The Joyce Foundation. Obama served on the board of directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge from 1995-2002, as founding president and chairman of the board of directors from 1995-1999. He also served on the board of directors of the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, and the Lugenia Burns Hope Center.

He was elected to the Senate in November 2004 with 70% of the vote.

Obama's ridiculous whining

It is amazing that the sky hasn't fallen and the Dems blamed the Republicans. Not only was the Dem convention "same old same old", it was so in spite of the Dems' own "change" mantra. And, the Clintons should go quietly now. Being a team player is one thing, but Hillary's recent level of chatter in support of an inferior opponent who embraced questionable tactics has only pushed those Dems that were on the fence further away from the party. Bill looked the same as when he told us he had not had sex with ML. Please go quietly.

whining/Obama

Mr. Finley: I point out that the demonstraters at the Repiblican Convention set out with the intent of creating violences and while no doubt he Democrats would disavow that they were in anyway connected with these demonstraters it should be remembered that what demostratation happened at the Democratic Convention did not involve such violene. It appears that some in the democratic party need to learn how to be civil and to protest in a legal manner and not set out to break shop windows, wich cost a shopkeeper money to replace and not to burn cars of innocents. It is disapointing that the major medias do not make an issue of this abuse of the laws.

McCain/Palin ticket

Always remember this when you cast your vote for President. Ask yourself or find out who our foreign enemies would rather have as our president, then vote the other way. In this case our enemies are tired of a republican in the Whitehouse and would much rather have a far left liberal making executive decision on how to deal with them.

Tell me I am wrong!

Obama not qualified

Score card: Governor--Palin, yes, Obama, no

Mayor: Palin, yes, Obama, no

City Council: Palin, yes, Obama, no

Head of the state National Guard: Palin, yes, Obama, no

Community Organizer: Palin, no, Obama, yes

"Running a Presidential Campaign": Palin, no, Obama, yes

So whose experience is better? Every fringe party runs a Presidential campaign and has a candidate. Obama's qualifications will match the candidates from the Communist Party, the Socialist Party, the Green Party, the Peace Party, the American Independent Party.....have I left anyone out?

And why are the Dems comparing their number 1 with the Reps number 2? Doesn't that say something?

Mr. and Mrs. Palin are people like us and it's time we got a voice in Washington. Only 2 weeks ago Mr. Palin was working the night shift on the North Slope. What other spouse can claim to be like us?

Convention TV coverage

I guess George Bullard didn't really watch CNN last night. Every commentator and analyst save one were a died in the wool Democrat. I've never seen Wolfe be so partisan. And Donna whatshername never can be objective. King and Anderson are certainly not objective reporters. It seems that if you're going to have Dems cover the DNC then you should at least have a panel of Reps to cover the RNC. CNN is in the tank for Obama and it shows. They didn't even try to hide it. And I don't even want to talk about Larry King and his panel of Dems. Where is fair and balanced? Not on CNN!

Fri. 09/5/08 07:41 AM

TV coverage predictable

Give me a brake George, you can't possibly have been watching things with neutral eyes if you claim CNN reorted fairly on both conventions. ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN are all in the tank for Obama. FOX News is the "only" network that attempts to give a balanced look of Political reporting. Take off your "blue colored" glasses George and wake up!

Obama Not Qualified

Mayor, City, Councilor, and PTA member? Wow, maybe I should run for President. The fact of the matter is Palin has no experience on the national stage. She is not attuned with the issues that are important to the rest of the country, better know how to solve these issues. Did you notice that none of the time during her speech was dedicated to providing insight into what programs she would install to help out Americans? How ironic that someone who accuses the opposition of having only "authored two memoirs" has herself only given one decent speech.

More importantly, Republicans seem to believe that America will forget that John McCain is actually who has the first name on the ticket. Maybe this is in hopes that Americans will overlook his continued support of the failed policies of the Bush administration.

Obama's Whining

Interesting because USA, God and Country, and family are not "isues", but the Democrats did seem to cover plenty of these. The economy, health care, the environment, and foreign relations were all thoroughly discussed topics at the Democratic convention.

Also, it's humorous how you draw some relation between Obama and random demonstrators at the Republican convention. Why is Obama responsible for everyone that's discontent with the RNC? Aren't the Republicans responsible for that themselves?

Thu. 09/4/08 10:35 PM

Obama's Whining

As I have watched both conventions, I was stunned again to see today, more liberal demonstrations at the Republican Convention. I watched the Democratic Convention, and I didn't see any Republicans demonstrating there. Evert time I see uncivil behavior, I just wonder who taught them that. The republican covention has highlighted "government reforms", "Hope", as Rudy Giuliani said, isn't a "Strategy". And, continued with other themes as, the USA, God and Country, and family. The Democratic Convention on the other hand appeared featured with, Doom and Gloom, the sky is falling, and as much poisson as they could spew upon the Republicans. And, now their in Minn-St Paul demonstrating. How rediculous. Is Obama allowing them to act like that?

Thu. 09/4/08 09:54 PM

Experience

I used to live in Southeastern Michigan and now I live in New Mexico about 20 miles from the Mexican border does that give me more foreign relations experience than Sarah?

It should give me as much as her after all I lived close to Canada and Mexico.

Unlike her I have actually been to both, bet she's never been to Russia.

What a Joke.

Nasty & Dirty?

Nolan Finley in his commentary, expresses the epitome of republican arrogance by choosing to characterize Sen. Obama's objections to the blatant lies voiced by the new Vice Presidential nominee as "whinning." To ignore the complete misinformation is typical of the bias in which Mr. Finley has attacked Senator Obama and general negative approach he has for any perspective that does not reflect his ultra-conservative views. John McCain has given his campaign over to the Karl Rove (Pillage & Rape) brigade, with no since of honor or regard for civility and yet we are to believe that he is an honorable man? I think that he and Nolan Finley exemplify all that is wrong in politics today, no sense of decency.

Obama Not Qualified

you forgot to mention that obama has a doctorate of law from harvard, magna cum laude - this argument that palin has more 'executive' experience than obama is ridiculous - in fact, she has more 'executive' experience than obama, biden, and mccain combined, if you want to take that ludicrous argument to its logical conclusion -
