Cultured Expressions 'Favorite Border Fabric' Now In Stock!

The following information was received from Cultured Expressions:

This African Mosaic Quilt project (see photo) was featured in a previous issue of Fabric Trends magazine (maybe 2006?), using this black and beige print from Mali as the border. Since then, the reaction to the print has been enthusiastic at our show booths and workshops, and it became clear that many of you loved it as much as we do! We've recently located this great design for you, at a cost of $8 per yard, 45" wide (available in half-yard increments).

We now like to think of it as CE's own signature border fabric : ) Until we add it to the website, please feel free to place your orders now via our toll-free order line, 1-866-MUDCLOTH.

Sandra's Personal Stash For Sale at Artisan Knitworks!!!

Sandra Van Burkleo has cleared out her yarn stash at home and it's now for sale at her studio, Artisan Knitworks!!!

Below is information received from Artisan Knitworks regarding the gigantic "stash bash."

The Stash Bash has arrived! The huge bags of surplus production yarns that Kathleen (who works at the studio) and Sandra hauled out of Sandra's third floor a week ago Wednesday are now JUST $5!! There is an incredible selection of weights, colors and fibers -- including baby alpaca, Italian wool, blends and more.

You'll recognize the brands in the stash bash as well...there's Lopi, Lini 97, Classic Elite, Art Yarns, Nashua and more! Some retailed for as much as 25 bucks a ball. There are multiple skeins of most right now, but this is all we have or will ever have. We are only doing this because the third floor is so full that we can't WORK up there, and some of this stuff just isn't as appealing as other stuff for production purposes. Some of it, in fact, was bought on line -- and you KNOW how that goes -- it's a bargain until you see it. Most are colors or lines that are no longer made -- though not all. So, Come in soon, while the selection is great!

Because of the special nature of these yarns, all sales are final and can't be returned.

Artisan Knitworks is located at 15222-B East Jefferson Ave. in Grosse Pointe Park. For more information, call (313) 823-4132.
