The part where it keeps repeating "Sweetest hangover...." should be changed, and actually sounded like, "SWEDISH hangover..."!!!!!!

Good-bye Justine

I'm glad to see her gone. She was never exciting, was a bad sport, a nasty girl (remember the stunt she pulled on the Williams girl?) and just appeared to be a B---h! ALL of the stars have to put up with the stress of life, the travel, the tour etc....boo, hoo for Justine. Hope she disappears into the sunset. Good riddance!

Why not three blogs on education. 1. Higher Education - Give the educated collegiate folks a chance to express their views. Our great State colleges are under economic pressure. Opening up a discussion forum for people to express their creative ideas might be a very good idea. 2. The Detroit Public Education Scene - With hundreds of millions squandered in the State's takeover of the Detroit Schools and the Texas indictment of the current Superintendent, it is clear that the News and the Free Press have more than dropped the ball. $50 million were spent by the Burnley administration on technology with nothing to show for it. A Massachusetts firm called CELT billed huge amounts for "shadow" programs called Learning Synergy (never delivered), Data Warehouse (never functional), .... were these no bid contracts any different from the Texas contracts that the Dallas DA finds interesting?? Why not give the public a chance to compare notes on this subject. The statute of limitation would allow some justice to administered on these matters. 3. No Child Left Behind - This education program has been no more successful than the President's war in Iraq. The need to let local communities drive the demand for quality has been run over by the Feds. Faulty tests... and false standards have made educational management a crooked path. It is time for States and local districts to say enough...

Hate to pop your bubble but the Joseph Harrington in the weding registries is not THE Joey Harrington. Joey married Emily Hatten in Portland, Oregon on March 10, 2007. They did not register for wedding gifts but asked for contributions to The Harrington Family Foundation.

Mr. Foster: I was alerted to this article by Mr. Brian Arnold himself. I am impressed at the emotion and dedication that he exhibits for his "players", however, his emotion, dedication and responsibility to his own biological children leaves much to be desired. Society places so much emphasis and worth on sports and sports figures without caring about the real character of these people. While Brian Arnold pours out his heart, time and soul into basketball, he neglects the financial care and responsibility, time and dedication to his own daughters. He hasn't seen either of them in nearly 7 years and has made no effort to do so. You, see, basketball is much more important. Brian Arnold almost missed the much valued playoffs because he was in the Wayne County jail charged with felony child support delinquency in the amount of $83,000. He and his great attorney came up with the idea to present a motion to get him released in time for the playoffs. Because the playoffs are, again, very important. The motion stated that the plaintiff, myself, had agreed to withdraw claim to any and all child support owed and enter into a private agreement to resolve the issue. Well, I am here to tell you that is a motion based on fiction and outright deceit. So there, your hero is actually no hero at all. He is just one of the many deadbeat, no good biological fathers running around Detroit. You're a reporter, check it out. The Wayne County Friend of the Court case numbers are: 1998-863511 and 1996-666309. Check the jail records for February 22 and they will verify, that yes indeed, he was there. Let's see where your sense of importance lies. Let's see if you write and print this story with the vigor that the sports story was written and printed..... Here is your article: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007703210411

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
