Sports Inferno Language

Every One PLEASE READ.

Terry, First of all I want to apologize to you personally about the comments directed towards you about the language on the "Sports Inferno". I appreciate your comments from my earlier post and I decided to listen to your show more carefully. It is true that sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between you and Mike when you both are going after each other on a topic. You were correct in saying that Mike is the one whom my issues are against. I still will choose not to listen to the show when my kids are with me, so maybe Mike can take notice of the language and tone it down some. You both have a lot of great things to bring to the sports world... the language doesn't sell your thoughts. Again, please accept my apologies for miss speaking.

P.S. I was at the 1998 Spartans/Buckeyes game and my heart was totally broken! It was the quietest stadium crowd ever that I have been a part of when leaving to go home! Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself... GO Bucks!

Live From Mallie's...... Please tell me that you guys wont be broadcasting from Downriver or Westland again. No one like to go the trash areas of Southeastern Michigan. Try Oakland County for once. You guys are better than that!!

First of all we go where we are wanted. Secondly Mike and I don't roll like that. I don't look down on people. I love going to every area of the metro area and in the state of Michigan.

People are people. The people in Westland and by Mallies are no less important than people in Oakland County. And finally Mallies is a great place to visit.

having sergi back would be awsome. is he that important to the blue jackets? there's no doubt in my mind he couldnt make a contribution to the wings, and probly for a minimum price. do me a favor if you will and bring it up your show, you may be surprised.

Sports Inferno Language

Terry, why is it when I read your article in print they never have any strong language, yet when your on the radio every other sentence in laced with words not suited for children or several adults for that matter. Is it because you can think through your words when writing, but when live you have to fill with something and this is what comes out. I've tried to listen to your show and really like your thoughts... but the extra words will keep me from listening further. I'm sure I'm not the only parent who can't listen to your show with kids in the car.

First of all you coming on here and saying every other sentence is not suited for children or adults is a lie. That is not true. I try to think before I speak. However, radio is an emotional medium and I do the show with a guy who brings out emotions.

I do believe my radio partner uses rough around the edge language way more than I do. So maybe you are confusing us. There is also a more relaxed atmosphere in radio than newspaper.

And in newspaper you have time to think and rewrite and edit yourself. In radio once you say it, you say it.

Terry-- carr has a right to have respect for his past contributions---he does not and should not have the power to name the next coach--it is martin and the presidents call--small minds would only want that power and I would hope carr is more than that!!!

Louisville

Terry--the whole time following the bowl games last year to sept,sportswriters told us what a great team Louisville would be -watching against Utah was a struggle-what happen to them?

They cannot stop anybody. Louisville still has a wonderful offense, but bottom line is this is a weak defensive team.
